GEMP3 is an MP3 player for GEM by Owen Rudge. It requires a 386 or higher to run. GEMP3 should work with most Sound Blaster-compatible sound cards. Its built-in setup program can help you configure the program correctly for your hardware.
There appear to be issues running the latest versions of GEMP3 on pure DOS, due to a currently unknown issue related to the memory manager. GEMP3 does not run on GEM/XM.
GEMP3 is made available as freeware, but is not currently open source.
